Help for Shorty
My brother and sister-in-law came to visit us for Easter weekend and on the way found an abandoned puppy scrounging for food at a truck stop in Arkansas. He was dirty and sad, and limping on an injured leg. Apparently, he was tossed out of a semi truck and left to fend for himself. He was called Shorty by a couple of people feeding him at the truck stop. My brother and sister-in-law fell in love with Shorty and decided to bring him with them on their trip. When they got back home, they took him in for a checkup and vaccinations. Upon taking him to the vet, the cause of his limp was discovered. X-Rays show that he has a broken and dislocated hip, and they were shocked to find out, he also had a bullet lodged in his good leg! This poor puppy has been through so much already. Over $400 has already been spent on vaccinations and X-Rays alone, and the surgery to repair his hip is expected to cost around $2000. This sweet puppy is in such good spirits despite the terrible things that have happened to him. He is healthy besides the hip injury and will live a long and happy life in his new forever home once he has this surgery. Please donate whatever you can to help these wonderful people who took it upon themselves to save the life of this wonderful dog. No donation is too small! If you cannot afford to donate, please cross post (share) this so that others will have the opportunity to help. Time is of the essence, as this surgery is needed as soon as possible. Thank you so much for your help!
